*Intense Title match*

At first,  Queenie made fundamental mistake “connection and settling shape” making marking groups dead and making group D live in gote [painful]. later a Javian’s team made a came back in killing group A and having the group B and C live [success] with tesuji at “1”.

Big yose move such as Black moving at 2 and 3… Sadly, that was their losing reason in yose. With joy, Haidar screamed!

During the second game, there were no suicidal move made by Queenie however; she fell to Haidar’s trick easily helping him to build sufficient territory to win the game.

When Black expanded at 1 hoshi move, White should have protected the cutting at “3” instead of moving at 4; thus, with no hesitation the first winning move of Black is thrusting through with 3 then followed up to 9. Queenie then made the first losing move at 10, an end game move because it is not urgent!

Then later, White 11 – 24 was considered all right but Queenie made the second losing move at 26; which she should have attacked the stone at “A”. In addition, since Black 15 group was not really settled, later the next black move was at “Tengen”.

The game was concluded forcing Javian to declare resignation upon the agreement of Queenie; no dead group however not enough territory – Haidar and Chiaw Yee had won the Title Match with perfetc scores.

Joseki
Pattern appeared during the game

Commentary game was conducted by Mah Zhe Fan 1-dan [Chief Judge] and Chin Sin Voon 2-dan [organizer] giving an account regarding of the title match round 2.

During the second game, White kakari with 1 then pincered by black at 2 followed up to White 6, which had been figured strange by Xinwen and Zhe Fan because this was not the primary sequence of the joseki and moreover, the necessesity of the exchange with 3 and 4 was out.

Usually the joseki is pressing at “6” for White instead of 5 as shown below.

Expecting Joseki 1 and 2 shown are utmost better result than the original game. If white had already thought about hitting at “1” shown in Joseki Expectation 2; white then should have not made the exchange of “3” and “4” in the original game. If Black 4 [Joseki Expectation 2] insisted in defending the corner with “5”, white can cut the area of 4.
