The best part of playing Go is to able to get sponsored in participating in any International Tournament hosted in Japan, Korea, China and etc. Such grand events are organized every year, example the World Amateur Go Championship, Prime Minister Korea Baduk Championship, and the First World Mind Sport Games. More importantly, International tournaments are organized and supervision by International Go Federation, Asian Go Federation, Nihon-Kiin and European Go Federation.

Ever since the establishment of Brunei Igo Society in 2007; the society has been able to get invited honorary in the latter tournament. The ultimate aim of this unlicensed society is to set up an official Go Association in Brunei (planned 2010).
