Usually, we would expect the follow-up as shown such above [Primary Sequence]. As far as we know, Joseki changes over time as society altered.

As we have reached the 21st century, modern era of technology, many new moves had as well been tried out in the game of Go such as the one from previous diagram [New Move at 8].

The move from the diagram [New Move at 8] has been discussed in the book [New Moves] by Alexander and An.

This move had been said to be played by a Chinese professional in 2009.

Black jumping at 6 actually trying to trick White to “a” thrust.  White wouldn’t be happy with the “a” result because White will expose cuts. /according to New Moves/

At the moment, we do not have the final verdict for the joseki. It has been said that the diagram [Best Example for the moment] is playable as White is light, Black is thicken.

If Black tenuki, White will “a“, Black “b” simply connects. However Black “c” peek forcing White to connect at “d” will result in capturing race – but Black will lose this race.

Overall, the game of Go is about experiment. Try it out!
